The CN Series HYTORC Nut™ line covers a wide range of sizes and applications. The CN Series HYTORC Nut™ is the modern day replacement for inaccurate Multi Jack Bolt Tensioners and dangerous Hydraulic Bolt Tensioners. The CN line offers users the speed of regular torque with unmatched repeatability and precision. CN Series Clamp Nuts have a through bolt design allowing for high stud protrusion. The castellated outer sleeve eliminates the need for over the nut sockets allowing for the smallest possible footprint on the market today. By using the multi tool optimization methods parallel joint closure is easily achievable in far less time that any other tensioning method available today!

CN Series Clamp NutThe CN Series HYTORC Nut™ was originally specified to replace fasteners that were operated with hydraulic bolt tensioners. The through bolt design of the CN Series HYTORC Nut™ makes them an appropriate choice for applications with high stud extensions. The outside diameter of a CN Series HYTORC Nut™ is approximately the cross corner dimension of a standard heavy hex nut.

CN Series clamps are typically specified for applications with minimal radial constraints. The relatively thick outer sleeve of a CN Series HYTORC Nut™ minimizes stresses and allows them to handle high loads at elevated temperatures.

The CN Series HYTORC Nut™ is composed of three components: outer sleeve, inner sleeve and washer. As the outer sleeve turns (blue arrow), the inner sleeve moves upwards (red arrow). The washer spline rotationally couples the inner sleeve with the washer preventing the inner sleeve from turning while providing a solid reaction point for turning the outer sleeve.
